There are a growing number of events and classes being held in Second Life. Most of these classes can be very helpful and down right full of information. Did I mention they are usually free too? I have compiled a few classes that will be held Monday, July 28th.

If you’d like to create your own clothing, then this is a great class to attend.  You’ll end up knowing a lot more about the process, how to use those graphics templates etc… I’ve attended this class and it’s very informative.

This class specializes in all forms of communication within Second Life.. If you’re unsure about things in any way, then you should definitely give this a try.

Creating your own unique gestures can be a lot of fun and is relatively easy to do. This class will teach you what you need to know to make your own gestures…

I always reccommend browsing the events listings, and checking the ‘notify’ button.  That way, you’ll never miss a class….or indeed any other event such as live music performances, sales, discussions.  It’s a great way to meet other residents and have some fun along the way..

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, attending classes in SL is a great way to learn a new skill and to meet new people.  I’ve been browsing through the educational events that are taking place for the remainder of November.  I’ve posted just a few that I thought might be of interest…I’ve also included the direct slurl to each class location. 

If you’d like to attend an ‘Avatar Make-over’ class, there’s one taking place at Caledon on the 28th of November at 10:00am.  This class will last for approximately 1 hour.  So if you’d like to spruce up your appearance then make a note of this one in your diary.

Being an informed consumer is important in SL….there are many scams that it’s best to avoid.  This class in Consumer Skills will help you to become a more informed shopper and teach you how to make the most of those precious linden$.

If you’re relatively new to SL then you might like to take a class in Clothing Basics…. a good foundation for future fashion work.

Remember, you can always search for classes from within your search window and have an automatic notification sent to you in-world reminding you 5 minutes before the class is about to begin.
